Adding value to an existing product and its packaging.

Temp Traq is a wearable thermometer in the form of a patch. It can be connected to a mobile application and used to constantly monitor temperature change for 48 hours. The app can track multiple patches at once, has an alert if the temperature reaches a certain point. The most important feature is how it's hands-free, and so it eliminates the need of checking back and forth on sick children and allows them to rest instead.

Packaging
Temp Traq is on the higher-end side of the market, but I felt the current packaging doesn't reflect that. To convey the luxurious feeling, I changed the structure of the packaging from the simple folded carton to a thicker material with a transparent window that slides to the side. I chose simple, neutral colors that focus on simplicity and elegance. Since the target market is children, babies, and their parents, I incorporated a simple pattern for better visual interest, but still keeping it elegant to reflect the quality. I also refined the logo to fit better with the new branding.

Marketing/Advertisement
I refined their brand persona to relate more towards their market. Since they attract more younger/modern families, I used millenial-like corporate approach by using more casual language. I mainly focus on social media marketing like Instagram, since it relates more towards the younger audience. The main points I would like to emphasize are the advantages of Temp Traq such as practical, comfortable, and safe. I had a sort of comedic idea to shift the narrative through the children’s point of view. Since they are the one who actually uses the product, their comfort should be a good measure of the product's quality. It also helps build trust for the parents that they are choosing the right product.
